The 2026 Kia Carnival MPV builds upon the successful redesign introduced previously with additional refinements to technology, premium materials, and available styling packages. The proven 3.5-liter V6 engine remains standard, while updates include enhanced Kia Connect functionality, expanded driver-assistance capabilities, an updated digital rearview mirror, and the introduction of the Dark Edition appearance package on select trims. These enhancements further strengthen the Carnival's position as one of the most innovative and versatile family vehicles available today.

The 2026 Kia Carnival MPV is powered by a robust 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 287 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a smooth-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission, the powertrain delivers responsive acceleration and confident highway passing performance. Unlike many traditional minivans, the Carnival combines strong capability with refined road manners that make it equally comfortable during daily commuting and long-distance road trips. Drivers will also appreciate the vehicle's composed handling characteristics and stable highway demeanor. With up to 3,500 pounds of towing capacity, the Carnival provides practical utility for hauling small trailers, recreational equipment, and family gear.

Efficiency remains a key strength throughout the Carnival lineup. The EPA-estimated 26 mpg highway rating helps reduce fuel stops during extended journeys while maintaining strong overall performance. Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go helps reduce driver fatigue during highway travel by automatically adjusting speed based on traffic conditions. Available roof rails expand cargo-carrying flexibility for outdoor adventures and family vacations. The result is a family-focused vehicle that delivers a balanced blend of capability, comfort, and everyday practicality.

Inside the 2026 Kia Carnival MPV, families will find one of the most spacious and versatile cabins in the segment. Best-in-class passenger and cargo capacity provide exceptional room for passengers and belongings alike, while available Slide-Flex seating allows flexible second-row configurations to accommodate changing needs. Available VIP Lounge Seating with Relaxation Mode transforms the second row into a premium travel experience with reclining functionality and enhanced comfort features. Available heated and ventilated seating, dual sunroofs, premium materials, and thoughtful storage solutions further elevate the cabin experience. Every detail has been designed to make family travel more comfortable and convenient.

The exterior of the Carnival breaks away from traditional minivan styling with a bold SUV-inspired design language. Distinctive LED lighting signatures, strong body lines, and an upright stance create a commanding presence on the road. Available 19-inch alloy wheels and Dark Edition styling elements add an even more sophisticated appearance for drivers seeking a premium aesthetic. Practical features such as power sliding rear doors, a hands-free power liftgate, and available roof rails enhance everyday usability. The result is a vehicle that successfully combines utility with contemporary styling.

Technology plays a central role in the 2026 Kia Carnival MPV experience. Available dual 12.3-inch panoramic displays create a modern digital cockpit that integrates navigation, vehicle information, and entertainment functions into a seamless interface. The available 11-inch Head-Up Display projects key driving information directly into the driver's field of vision, helping reduce distractions. A premium Bose audio system delivers exceptional sound quality throughout the cabin, while available dual 14.6-inch rear entertainment screens help keep passengers engaged during long trips. Kia Connect services provide additional convenience through connected vehicle functionality and remote features.

Safety is equally impressive thanks to a comprehensive suite of driver-assistance technologies. The Carnival offers up to 30 available driver-assistance features, including 18 standard systems designed to help improve awareness and confidence behind the wheel. Key technologies include Auto Emergency Braking with Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection, Blind-Spot Detection, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Blind-Spot View Monitor, and a 360° Surround View Monitor. Passenger View and Passenger Talk systems make it easier for drivers to monitor and communicate with rear-seat occupants. Together, these technologies help make the Carnival one of the most advanced family vehicles in its class.
