Illinois License Plate Renewal Info
The State of Illinois has announced that it will no longer mail reminders for license plate renewals. Because registration renewal notices are no longer sent by mail, it's up to each driver to keep track of their expiration date. Renewals must now be completed at a Secretary of State office or at a location that offers electronic vehicle registration.
